BROWS & LIPBLUSH PRE-CARE/AFTER CARE

BROWS

For the first & second day wipe with sterile cooled boiled water with clean cotton pads 4 times each day, then apply a tiny amount of bepanthen with a cotton bud.

Day 3-14 wash with warm water or simple face wash twice a day, then apply a small amount of bepanthen, if needed you can apply more during the day but if it looks white at all take some off as too much aftercare cream may affect pigment retention.

Do not stand with your face under the shower when washing.

After your eyebrow procedure, you may be swollen. Some clients will swell minimally and some will swell more. Everyone heals differently. This can cause the area(s) to appear uneven, itchy and irritated when healing. The area(s)will also appear much darker and thicker than the final result. You can expect eyebrows to fade and shrink around 30% this typically happens within 3-30 days of the first procedure.

The scabs will  shed off the skin with colour in it as the area heals.  Please do not pick.

Some areas of the eyebrows will fade more than others and as the pigment oxidizes it will start to darken up again over a 2-3 weeks, final healed result will be at 4 weeks.  After the touch up, the body should recognise the pigment and should retain better and won’t fade as much as the initial procedure. If you start any new medication before your touch up appointment you must let me know, this includes antibiotics as this will effect retention and the top up may need to be rearranged. Top up must be done within 12 weeks of initial procedure which is included in the price, after that it will be chargeable.

ALL PERMANENT MAKEUP RESULTS VARY FROM PERSON TO PERSON.

If you HAVE OR HAD previous permanent makeup, laser removal, Alopecia, Trichotillomania, scarring, skin conditions or old pigment still visible on an area previously done by another technician, please know that the area/s may require more work or may NOT retain at all. They WILL NOT heal like untouched skin & fees will apply

Skin types, such as African American, Indian, Philippine, Italian, Severely Oily or over tanned skin and there like, please note that the hair strokes WILL blend more with your skin and may not appear as defined as on lighter skin types.  Red heads, blondes & fair skin types, will experience more swelling, redness, crusting or scabbing and some areas will fade substantially. They can look more powdered or solid looking.

Smoking will affect your results and may cause the pigment to fade prematurely.

You must keep your brows dry apart from washing them until the scabs come off or for 2 weeks And do not touch them,  If you should experience any scabbing, crusting, or flaking, please let it exfoliate naturally. This will prevent any unnecessary infections or pigment loss.

ABSOLUTELY NO GETTING THEM DIRECTLY WET: WATER, POOL, OCEAN, SUN (HEAT),SWEATING(OF ANY KIND), GYM/EXERSION FOR 2 WEEKS.  NO TANNING & RETINOLS/ANTI-AGING CREAMS FOR 30 DAYS BEFORE THE PROCEDURE AND FOR 30 DAYS AFTER.  IF YOU DO NOT WAIT YOU WILL RUIN THE RESULTS. IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THIS AFTERCARE, I WILL KNOW AND HAVE THE RIGHT TO RELEASE YOU FROM ANY FUTURE SERVICES.
